The Jakri College Alumni Association is an association
of the former students of Jakri College, which aims to
support the education and career development of students
and former students by strengthening their links. It is
also the key link between the College and its graduates.
The aims and objectives of Jakri College Alumni Association
are as follows:
- To foster closer relationship between current
students and the former graduates.
- To afford to its members, means of social interaction,
mutual cooperation, assistance and networking.
- To promote the furtherance of the interest and
prosperity of Jakri College and of its past and present
students.
- To enable its members to update themselves on
developments within Jakri College.
- To set up a Membership Directory.
- To provide job opportunities through the Job Placement
Centre.
- To avail for personal development of its members
through upgrading courses offered by Jakri College or
its subsidiaries or associated companies.
- To set up an education foundation from which scholarships
/ loans can be given to its members, their children or
as a means of charity.
- To distributed circulars, bulletins or journals
and other publications of Jakri College to members of
the Alumni with the prior approval from relevant authorities.
- To organize events / activities that will help
to realize the aims and objectives of the Alumni.
- To arrange meetings, discussions and conventions
and to encourage the active participation of members in
the common interest.
With the Jakri Alumni Association, you can reconnect yourselves
with your long lost college friends or make sure that
you never lose touch in the first place. You will also
be close in touch with the College and the sense of belonging
/ attachment you once had.
